Vance’s Joy
What: Multi-platinum recording artist Vance Joy is set to perform at Rogers Arena on Friday, May 27, with opening acts including Vancouver electronic rock band Dear Rouge and Australian singer Budjerah. Joy’s flagship show in Vancouver is one of two he performs in Canada as part of his The Long Way Home Tour.

Purple Rain Party at Rolla Skate Club

What: Rolla Skate Club hosts a weekly roller skating party on Saturday nights at Rollerland. Dress to impress and get ready to have fun with DJ Groovhear. Rental roller skates and protective skates are included with every ticket, and skaters are welcome to ride in their own gear as well. The event offers two time slots and bring your own helmet if you wish to wear one. For ages 19 and up.

Safe & Sound Music Festival 2022

What: Safe & Sound Music Fest’s first live festival in four years features a must-see lineup of international stars and local talent.
Multi-Grammy nominee Ty Dolla $ign is the headliner of Safe & Sound Music Fest. The Los Angeles singer, rapper and producer is known for his hits “Blasé”, “Paranoid” and “Or Nah”. He has also collaborated with artists like Kanye West, Rihanna, Megan Thee Stallion and Post Malone.
Also on the bill are Canadian legends Rascalz featuring Kardinal Offishall; Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr; hip hop, rap and soul artist Missy D; and much more.

What: R&B singer Snoh Aalegra, whose latest album Temporary highs in the purple sky was released last July, will perform in Vancouver as part of his Ugh, These Temporary Highs tour. What: An exhibit at the Museum of Vancouver (MOV) will immerse you in the city’s brilliant past and delve into the division that changed its cityscape. Until summer 2022, Neon Vancouver | Ugly Vancouver features a collection of flashy signs from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Some are lit for the first time since being salvaged from junkyards.
