Fremantle vs Collingwood Betting Tips
Optus Stadium, Sunday 22n/a 5:20 p.m. May (AEST)
Injuries: Nat Fyfe (back), Joel Hamling (knee), Nathan O’Driscoll (foot), Joel Western (hamstring)
The Dockers will welcome a lot of quality back into the roster this weekend and now have a very small injured list. Nat Fyfe is the big name still missing with a back injury, while youngster Nathan O’Driscoll is the other missing from their top 22.
The Dockers couldn’t match the intensity and effort of the Suns last weekend and managed to put up just 33 points on the scoreboard in a six-goal loss. On their defense, the Dockers were missing a number of key players, most of whom are expected to return for Sunday night’s game. This result aside, the first nine rounds of the season have been fruitful for the Dockers who seem certain to play the finals. They are currently 7-2 and reside in the top four.
Injuries: Charlie Dean (foot), Jamie Elliott (shoulder), Brodie Grundy (knee), Ash Johnson (hamstring), Will Kelly (hip), Nathan Kreuger (shoulder), Jack Madgen (shoulder), Jordan Roughead (finger) ), Tom Wilson (Back)
The Magpies have a long injury list, but many of them are players who are unlikely to feature in their best 22. Brodie Grundy, Jamie Elliott, Nathan Kreuger and Jordan Roughead are the names they will miss the most.
It’s been an eventful season for the Magpies so far. They had two two-game winning streaks, one three-game losing streak and come into this game on a two-game losing streak. Keeping their opponents to a manageable scoreline has been the biggest issue this season as they have conceded a total of 816 points which puts them in the bottom half of the competition. The Magpies are 4-5 in the win/loss columns and are at 11andplace on the scale.
The Dockers have been the most consistent team to start the season and will deservedly start as heavy favorites on their own deck. What’s more, they’ve owned the Magpies for the past three seasons, beating them in all three matches, including twice on the road in Melbourne. After a disappointing result last week, I expect the Dockers to bounce back and deliver a solid victory on Sunday night.

Josh Daicos has had a superb start to the season, not least thanks to his ability to find plenty of football. He had more than 20 touches in each of his first seven outings before having a few quiet games in the last two. I expect him to bounce off the wide open spaces of Optus.

Lachie Schultz is having a very fine career at Fremantle and is constantly threatening to hit the scoreboard up front. He has already scored 12 goals this season and multiple goals on four occasions. In a game where they should be able to put up a big score, Schultz is good value for 2+ goals.
Lachie Schultz 2+ goals ($2.02 Ladbrokes)
Michael Walters had a very slow start to the season with only 15 eliminations combined from the first two rounds. However, he has lifted 15+ in four of his last six games and the only times he has fallen below that mark was in tough games against the Blues and Cats. I found it in abundance here.
