3 Loyola University students robbed at gunpoint in Rogers Park

CHICAGO (CBS) – Three Loyola University students were robbed while strolling through Rogers Park early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:47 a.m., two men, 20 and 21, and a woman, 21, were walking down the sidewalk in the 6500 block of North Glenwood when three offenders got out of a parked white SUV, one of three offenders displayed a gun and claimed their property.

The attackers took the victim’s property and one of the attackers then fired a shot in the direction of one of the victims, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The flight is one of four in the Rogers Park and Peterson Park areas early Sunday morning.

Area detectives are investigating.
