7.2 magnitude earthquake hits Peru, Chile and Bolivia

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake rocked southern Peru, western Bolivia and northern Chile on the morning of May 26, officials said. According to a report by the US Geological Survey, the earthquake’s epicenter was 13 kilometers west-northwest of the town of Azangaro in Peru. A video posted on the Facebook page of the municipality of Iquique shows some fragile angles of the Chilean city’s morning routine as they were affected by the tremors.
