A chain of “famous” restaurants suffered from a lack of clubs… and it did!

Amid the Corona pandemic that has swept the world, a “famous” chain of Chinese restaurants in the North West of England faced the problem of a lack of waiters, with no solution but robots.

Chinese Buffet restaurants have started using robots in their branches in Liverpool, St Helens, Bolton and Wigan.

According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, these restaurants called the robots “BellaBot”, and the latter began to serve food to customers of these restaurants.

And when one of those restaurants reopened, after one of the country’s shutdowns, the bosses decided to serve food to customers at the tables, after they ordered what they wanted to eat via an electronic app. .

But that added extra pressure on the already small staff, and the solution lay in the robot.

Also, these restaurants, like others, have experienced a decrease in the number of their employees due to the pandemic for several reasons, such as subjecting many workers to isolation due to the successive transfers that have appeared in the country.

The owners of the restaurant chain claim that the robots have proven popular with diners and moreover, they cost less than the waiter’s salary.

The price of each is $20,000, which is less than the cost of hiring a lowest-paid bartender for 40 hours a week, according to Sky News Arabia.

The robot consists of a screen above two legs, and between them there are small shelves on which the required food is placed, and at the bottom there are wheels that the robot turns.
