A young Illawarra mother and her two children have not been seen since Friday morning and police are appealing to the public for help in their search.
Liberty Ruhl, 27, was last seen in Dapto around 4.30am on Friday before being reported missing to police.
An investigation into the missing family was immediately launched and officers attached to the Lake Illawarra Police District appealed to the public for any information relating to their fate.
The young mother is believed to have her two children, a six-year-old boy, Jahkai, and a 12-month-old girl, Harmony, with her.
Liberty is described as Caucasian in appearance, 160-170cm tall, slim build, with long blonde/light brown hair.
She may be driving a black Mazda CX-7 station wagon and is known to frequent the Nowra and Illawarra areas.
Relatives of the 27-year-old said she intended to travel to Western Australia soon.
