Aspyr Brings Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II To Pass In June

It’s Star Wars Celebration this week – with the launch of the new Obi Wan Kenobi series and various other announcements.

As part of this, Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games today announced the 2004 game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords will arrive on Nintendo Switch on June 8.

This version will come with updated HD cutscenes, textures, UI and resolution. Here are the main features, courtesy of the PR:

A stand-alone suite: Discover the continuation of the famous STAR WARS™: Knights of the Old Republic™ in this original RPG epic set in the darkest days of the Old Republic.

Choose your destiny: Uncover your past and make difficult choices that aren’t as clear cut as “right or wrong.” Every decision can have a significant impact on your story and your team. Will you defend the Jedi Order or lead the galaxy to ruin?

Master the Force: Choose from three different Jedi classes, each capable of wielding specific Force powers, and customize your characters with unique skills and abilities.

Lead your crew: Command a group of diverse teammates, each with their own strengths, alignments, and nuanced backstories. Your actions will influence the fate of your crew, but not everyone may agree with the choices you make…

The Restored Sith Lords Content DLC: Expand your experience even further with this incredible collection of content including new dialogue and crew interactions, a bonus mission featuring HK-47, and a new revamped ending, as free post-launch DLC.

Pre-orders are available now on the Switch eShop for $14.99/£14.99/€14.99. There will also be a digital bundle including the second game and the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – available for pre-order for $29.99/£29.99/€29.99.
