Australia has “great friends” in the United States, Japan and India

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said Australia had “great friends” in the United States, Japan and India.

In an extensive interview with Sky News Australia, Mr Albanese spoke about the recent Quad meeting and the issues unfolding in the region.

“I’ve been very encouraged by the conversations I’ve had with other world leaders,” he said.

Mr Albanese also touched on the issue of China and said it was in all of our interests for there to be peace in the region and “not to talk about disaster”.
