Barnaby Joyce ‘resonates with a lot of people’ in the regions

Australian media writer Sophie Elsworth said Nationals leader Barnaby Joyce resonated “with a lot of people” when it came to regions.

“The media needs to get out of the metropolitan bubble and into the regions, and Barnaby Joyce resonates with a lot of people,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

‚ÄúSometimes when we hear the reports on these stories, we get caught up in the city reporting on it and we don’t talk enough to people in the countryside.

“I don’t really understand why they would want to move Barnaby, given the success the Nationals had in the recent election.”
