Bill Gates’ chilling prediction on Covid before the book’s release

The tech baron made another chilling prediction about the virus while urging countries to remain vigilant.

Billionaire Bill Gates has issued another chilling warning about the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Gates first acknowledged the threat of the pandemic during a 2015 Ted Talk titled The next epidemic? We are not ready. Almost eight years, and a pandemic later, the tech mogul issued another warning saying we still haven’t seen the worst of the virus.

“We still risk that this pandemic generates a variant that would be even more transmissible and even more deadly,” he told the FinancialTimes.

“It’s not likely, I don’t want to be a pessimistic voice, but it’s way above a 5% risk of this pandemic, we haven’t even seen the worst of it.”

So far, Gates’ predictions have been solid.

In December 2021, he urged communities to prepare for the worst of the pandemic.

“Just when it looked like life would return to normal, we could be entering the worst part of the pandemic. Omicron will hit home for all of us,” he said.

“Omicron is spreading faster than any virus in history. It will soon be in every country in the world.

More than six million people have been killed worldwide due to Covid-19 since March 2020, but the number of cases and deaths has declined in recent weeks.

The 58-year-old is now calling for the development of more sustainable vaccines while urging world leaders to fund the world’s preparedness for future health threats.

Gates releases his new book How to prevent the next pandemic tuesday.
