Emergency crews help a person who fell from an embankment

The individual was safely pulled from the embankment by an Ottawa Fire Department rope rescue team.

The Ottawa Fire Services (SCO) responded to a call about a person who fell from a steep embankment at the intersection of Bank Street and Riverside Drive on June 24.

The call came just before 5pm and the individual was being attended to by paramedics when an SFO rope rescue team arrived at the scene to bring the person down to street level.

The individual was safely pulled up from the embankment by the rope rescue team just before 5:20 p.m.
