Evacuation orders in place for parts of Sydney as severe weather warning is issued

NSW SES Assistant Commissioner Dean Storey said there were a number of evacuation orders in place in areas of south-west Sydney.  “It is a very dynamic and dangerous weather situation that we are currently experiencing.  This is expected to continue through the end of the day, overnight and into tomorrow,' he told Sky News Australia.  He advises people to avoid unnecessary travel and stay out of floodwaters.
