Ferries are close to capacity and hundreds of people are queued up at Circular Quay, as the Easter long weekend coincides with free public transport across Sydney.
Sydney Ferries on Saturday urged travelers to “allow plenty of extra travel time and consider alternative travel options”, as hundreds of people lined up for services across the harbor on Saturday.
On Friday, Sydney Ferries said significant crowds meant not all passengers could catch the ferry.
“F1, F2, F3, F4, F7, F8 and F9 ferry services are reaching capacity and may not be able to pick up all passengers. Wharves are also heavily crowded. Consider alternative travel options,” Sydney Ferries tweeted at 5pm on Good Friday.
