There are three main things to consider when preparing for a day at the Boulder Creek Festival, an annual Memorial Day weekend tradition: the Creekside Beer Festival, from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; the relatively new all-day Street Wise Art Battle pitting the artists of the upcoming Street Wise Mural Festival against each other in a live painting competition; and the all-important Creekside for Kids area, where youngsters will be occupied with entertainment, crafts and sports activities. Everything else – the food, the Makers’ Market, the Business Bazaar and all the other nooks and crannies – is icing on a huge cake. Learn more here.
