Manchester United fans have sent a clear message to Erik ten Hag after Alejandro Garnacho scooped May’s Goal of the Month award.
The goal, which came in a Liverpool Under-23 game, saw Alvaro Fernandez make a defensive pass to Garnacho who then coldly chipped the goalkeeper. Garnacho’s latest recognition comes after a sensational season for the teenager.
Garnacho arrived at Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid in 2020. Despite being just 17, the youngster has been scoring goals for fun at youth level, particularly in the FA Youth Cup where the Argentine scored twice in the final against Nottingham Forest to help secure the trophy for United.

Garnacho was even called up to the Argentina national team where he spent time training alongside Lionel Messi. United will be looking to improve their strike force this summer with Edinson Cavani on his way out. However, United fans sent Ten Hag a clear message ahead of the transfer window.
