Italy and Greece ease COVID restrictions

Travelers heading to Europe for the summer will no longer be subject to COVID restrictions.

The Greek Civil Aviation Authority has removed requirements for showing proof of vaccination, a negative COVID test or proof of recent recovery from the virus for international and domestic flights.

Similarly, Italy has scrapped its COVID green pass – which limited access to restaurants, cinemas, gyms and other large venues to those who were fully vaccinated.

The changes have been welcomed by tour operators.
