The Kuwait Olympic Committee has announced the postponement of the Gulf Games, which were due to start on Friday, May 13, to May 16, in mourning for the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the state, who moved to the side of his Lord pleases and pleases on Friday.

The committee said in a statement on Friday: “The Chairman of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has announced the postponement of the start of the Third Gulf Sports Games due to the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

The tournament will start on Monday, May 16 and end on May 31.
