Durham Regional Police have charged a man in connection with a voyeurism investigation in Pickering, Ontario.
According to a statement released by the service, police were called to a Walmart store on Brock Street in Pickering around 2:15 p.m. on January 4, after a man was discovered recording a customer as she used the changing rooms.
Police said the suspect was confronted by the victim and his family and said he deleted the photos from his mobile phone before fleeing.
However, police added there were other pictures on his phone of other possible victims and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.
In an updated statement released on Friday, police charged Courtney Finn, 30, of Ajax, with voyeurism. He was released on recognizance.
Investigators would like to thank the community for their assistance in this case and are asking anyone who may have more information about this incident to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
