Uvalde, United States:
Meghan Markle, the wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, made an unannounced visit to the Texas town of Uvalde on Thursday to pay tribute to the victims of an elementary school shooting that left 19 people dead and two teachers dead.
The Duchess of Sussex, 40, dressed in jeans, a t-shirt and a blue baseball cap, leaned with her head bowed and placed flowers on a makeshift memorial at the exterior of the Uvalde courthouse.
She also walked around the memorial looking at the white crosses bearing the names of the victims of Tuesday’s carnage.
Harry and Meghan left royal life and moved to North America two years ago. They now live in California with their two children.
