Hundreds of terrified American basketball fans were seen running for their lives after a gunman shot three people as the Bucks-Celtics game ended Friday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
According to New York Postat least five shots were heard as Milwaukee police said three people were shot and injured.
Three people were shot, including a 16-year-old girl, outside the NBA game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – sending panicked crowds into the streets running for their lives, video shows.
The Milwaukee Police Department confirmed that two women and a man were shot near Martin Luther King Drive and Highland Ave outside the Fiserv Forum during the final minutes of the Bucks-Celtics playoff game, according to WISN.
The other injured woman is believed to be 26 and the man 30, according to the report.
All three victims reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries.
One person has been taken into custody, police told TMJ4.
Video shows dozens of fans in the outdoor viewing area known as the Deer District fleeing for cover. The Bucks had announced earlier in the evening that as many as 11,000 fans were packed into the area, The Journal-Sentinel reported.
Other clips show people screaming as they disperse to safety.
First responders, including mounted police, were in the area as road closures were in effect. At least one ambulance was seen leaving the scene.
First responders quickly arrived on the scene to help the man, who had non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports.
A large police presence remained at the scene late Friday evening.
The Celtics picked up a victory forcing a Game 7 game in the second round in Boston on Sunday.
