Saturday night’s Powerball draw failed to yield a grand prize winner for the estimated $20 million jackpot with a cash option of $12 million. The next draw, which will take place on Monday, will see the jackpot reach $27 million, with a cash value of $16.1 million.
The draw comes after a player from Arizona scooped Wednesday’s jackpot for $473.1 million with a cash value of $283.3 million. The winner has not yet come forward to claim their prize.
The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday April 30 were 14, 21, 37, 44 and 63, with a red Powerball of 1. The Power Play was 3X.
Despite no grand prize winners, two players became instant millionaires after the last draw. One ticket from New Jersey and another from Pennsylvania reached Game 5, winning $1 million each.
Ticket holders could have won $2 million each if they matched five numbers with the Power Play.
There were 12 players who hit Match 4 plus the red Powerball and won $50,000. Nine won Match 4 plus the red Powerball with the Power Play and won $150,000.
The rest of the night’s monetary winnings ranged from $4 to $300. A total of 447,932 players won the latest jackpot prizes.
Jackpot winners must match all six numbers on their ticket to the six-number combination drawn. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and one number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot.
