Razer has released a new soundbar for PC, the Leviathan V2

I reviewed the original Razer Leviathan back in 2016 – a 5.1 channel surround PC soundbar from Razer, designed specifically for gaming. Years have passed now and we are quite surprised to see that it is coming back with bigger and better technology!

Razer Leviathan V2 is Razer’s version of the upgraded Leviathan, powered by dual full-range speakers, dual passive radiators, dual tweeters and a down-firing subwoofer, plus THX Spatial Audio technology. Leviathan V2 is the first gaming soundbar to offer THX Spatial Audio.

Having THX Spatial Audio means you can enjoy 7.1 surround sound that gives you a more realistic and detailed soundstage, which will enhance your movie and game watching experience. But it also works with music, giving you a very nice and wide soundstage that makes you feel like you’re surrounded by musical instruments at a live concert.

You’ll be using the Leviathan V2 on the PC, but it’s also equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 so you can connect it to your cellphone as well. You can either enjoy mobile games via low latency Bluetooth 5.2 or just relax and listen to music. Got a Nintendo Switch? It will also work with that.

I like how the controls are located on top of the soundbar so they’re always easy to reach at all times.

And of course, it’s also powered by Razer Chroma RGB with 18 lighting zones and fully customizable through Razer Synapse, creating a nice cool underlight on your desk.

Razer Leviathan V2 retails for AU$409.95 and is available to purchase now.
