Public transport users in Craigieburn and Donnybrook will soon have more options for getting around, with a shuttle to operate between the suburbs.
Public Transportation Minister Ben Carroll recently announced the service as part of a $109 million increase in the state budget for bus services.
“The new shuttle will provide residents with easy access to shopping, employment, health services and rail services,” he said.
Mr Carroll said the upgrades would meet demand and improve accessibility and performance.
“We are creating a safer and more accessible public transport network for every Victorian to stay connected to family, friends, work and schools,” Mr Carroll said.
“In doing so, we are investing in a record-breaking pipeline of new trains and trams made in Victoria, by Victorians – supporting thousands of local jobs every year.”
