Sony Bravia X80K is the brand new LCD TV in India which will be available in 43 inch, 50 inch, 55 inch, 65 inch and 75 inch. Currently, only the 55-inch model is retailed in the country. Coming from the Bravia 8 series of LED TVs, the X80K sports a 4K Ultra HD display with HDR, Dolby Vision, 20W speakers, HDMI 2.1 quality and Google TV software. Sony made the 55-inch X80K for ₹94,990. But on the Sony India website, this KD-55X80K TV model is listed for ₹1.29,900 (after tax). You can buy it through Sony centers, e-commerce websites and major electronics stores across the country.

The front of the TV is a 4K LCD panel with Direct LED backlighting. There is no local dimming. It is a 60Hz screen. Image output benefits from HDR formats such as Dolby Vision and HLG. Sony backs the TV with its proprietary technologies such as the X1 4K HDR Processor, Triluminous Pro for color adjustment, X-Reality Pro for 4K upscaling, MotionFlow for frame interpolation-based smoothing, and a built-in light for brightness optimization according to ambient conditions.

You also get ambient optimization not only for the visuals but also for improving the sound of the indoor environment the TV is present in. Speaking of sound, the X80K has a 2x10W unit aided by Dolby Atmos.

Sony has provided Google TV software based on Android 10. There is support for Chromecast, Google Assistant hands-free, Apple AirPlay / Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Bravia Cam and Living Decor (a kind of screensaver).

The new Bravia TV also comes with 16GB storage, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and HDMI 2.1 with eARC and auto low latency mode.
