South Australia records 4,349 new COVID cases

South Australia recorded 4,349 COVID cases and four deaths in the last reporting period.

There are 236 people in hospital and 26 are being treated in intensive care.

More than 20,000 South Australians were vaccinated yesterday as the state focuses on releasing more appointments.

The state government has also introduced a new financial incentive to boost injections at GP clinics and pharmacies.

The milestone of 90% vaccination should be reached at the end of this month.
