Teddi Mellencamp contradicts Sutton’s gun story

Teddi Mellencamp claims Sutton called Erika 'white trash' and shares story that contradicts Sutton's 'gun problem'

During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsteammates reacted to Dorit Kemsleyterrifying home invasion. Although most of the women seemed shocked, Sutton Stracke was preoccupied with her own problems. When Kyle Richards called her, Sutton sarcastically apologized for not being “held at gunpoint.”

According to Sutton, the insensitive remark was the result of his issues with “guns,” which stem from two traumatic events in his past. “My house was broken into when I was 14 so here it is. My dad shot himself in the head, so there you go,” Sutton explained on the show.

Teddi Mellencamp, however, has a history that contradicts Sutton’s claims. Because of this, Teddi couldn’t take some of Sutton’s scenes at face value.

“When I see Sutton say in the confessional ‘you know about me, I have a history with guns, I have a real problem with guns’, then my mind goes back to the season I was in. with Sutton, where they never showed there, where Sutton called Erika and me white trash and she said she grew up hunting and using guns and blah, blah, blah,” said Teddi on his podcast, “Two T’s In A Pod,” via Heavy.

According to Teddi’s story, Sutton had said, “Just because I’m not from the white trash cans where you are, we could get a license at 15 to drive a tractor.” »

When his co-host Judge Tamra (of Real Housewives of Orange County) asked why the footage was never released, Teddi explained, “[Producers] don’t show that stuff, especially your first season. Although Teddi doesn’t seem to believe her former colleague, she thinks Sutton “is good television.”

In September last year, Teddi pointed out another supposed contradiction: Sutton’s sudden interest in Erika Jayne(In the past, Sutton has suggested that his friendship with Erika could damage Sutton’s reputation).

“No one was grilling [Sutton] about all these personal details before, they let it go. No one knew who Sutton was before ‘Real Housewives,'” Teddi said on We Weekly “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast. “If you’re really concerned about your reputation, if you want to maintain, like, an amazing reputation and all the charities you’re in and everything else, you’re not going to ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’… So this argument is a bit wrong for me.

Sutton is a common source of drama on RHOBH, but the Southern belle, it seems, is only interested when she can control it (i.e. with Erika Jayne). The Sutton Skid after the flight, however, quickly falls from his grip.

Does his ally Garcelle save the day – sweep everything under the rug?
