The sweet and friendly Teletubbies of the beloved British children’s TV show left Teletubbyland and headed straight to the London Palladium to audition for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

The four performers, consisting of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, took the stage for an unexpected performance during Saturday night’s episode.

The iconic Teletubbies needed no introduction as they were instantly recognized by the crowd and the judges, especially Simon Cowell who has a history with the stars of children’s television.

Before doing “the tubby,” the celebs performed a voiceover, revealing that 25 years ago, a “very special man named Simon Cowell” helped them release their very first song, “Say Eh-Oh! ” which “went all the way to No. 1 in 1997”.

Cowell jokingly admitted, “Yeah, I was their record company.”

The Teletubbies performed their television audition, which marked their 25th anniversary as television performers. The entire audience, including the judges, danced and clapped except for Cowell, who seemed too stunned to move, as the group danced to hits from BeyoncΓ©, ABBA and One Direction.

“Somehow the Teletubbies screw it up, it’s entertaining,” David Walliams commented after their dance routine.

Alesha Dixon was “thrilled” to see them reunite on stage while Teletubbies fangirl Amanda Holden was “bullied” the whole time.

Cowell admitted he felt “quite emotional”.

“We’ve had a lot of success together…it’s been a great time,” he said before finally getting up to take the stage for a big group hug.

Cowell quickly ‘back to business’ as he gave the Teletubbies their first ‘yes’, followed by three more yeses and a standing ovation from the judges as they clapped the fan-favorite performers into the next round.
