Before doing “the tubby,” the celebs performed a voiceover, revealing that 25 years ago, a “very special man named Simon Cowell” helped them release their very first song, “Say Eh-Oh! ” which “went all the way to No. 1 in 1997”.

The Teletubbies performed their television audition, which marked their 25th anniversary as television performers. The entire audience, including the judges, danced and clapped except for Cowell, who seemed too stunned to move, as the group danced to hits from BeyoncΓ©, ABBA and One Direction.
“Somehow the Teletubbies screw it up, it’s entertaining,” David Walliams commented after their dance routine.

Cowell admitted he felt “quite emotional”.
“We’ve had a lot of success together…it’s been a great time,” he said before finally getting up to take the stage for a big group hug.
Cowell quickly ‘back to business’ as he gave the Teletubbies their first ‘yes’, followed by three more yeses and a standing ovation from the judges as they clapped the fan-favorite performers into the next round.
