“The more we are condemned, the more the prices go up”: head of risk assessment

Sky News host James Morrow says we are about to see a “vast transfer of wealth” from the middle and working class to the elite begin in Australia.

His remarks come after HSBC’s Stuart Kirk gave a presentation on the correlation between risky assets and mentions of the end of the world.

“The more people say the world is going to end, and here I looked at the number of incidents in all the press around the world that use ‘climate catastrophe’ – the number of times the phrase ‘climate catastrophe’ is mentioned around the world, higher and higher risk assets are going,” Mr. Kirk said.

“The more we are condemned, the more the prices increase.”
