BELL (CBSLA) – Los Angeles Police Department officers on Friday night arrested two people in a chase that ended on Otis Avenue and Bell Avenue in Bell.
The chase began in Boyle Heights just before 11 p.m., when authorities became involved with a suspect wanted for reckless driving and allegedly impaired driving.
While evading authorities, the driver made his way through Vernon and other communities before ending up at Bell. The driver of the chased vehicle cut off the car of a person unrelated to the chase, causing his car to tip over, thus ending the chase.
When the vehicle rolled over in mid-air, it struck both a utility pole and a large tree before coming to a stop on its roof.
This is a developing story. Check back for more details.
