Vancouver mansion for sale includes rooftop putting green

Make sure you don’t hit the ball off the green…

While putting is sometimes referred to as the ground game, this house takes that up a bit.

About three floors.

The home at 8483 Wiltshire St. in Marpole is currently on the market for $12 million. And like other multimillion-dollar mansions, it comes with a bunch of bedrooms (nine) and even more toilets (12).

And like other similar dwellings, it has a few advantages, some of which are unique.

The most obvious is the rooftop putting green, which also has a patio area and three flag poles.

There’s also a surprising number of fireplaces (at least five) and chandelier-style light fixtures (more than you’d count) giving it an opulent air.

And while the listing really wants you to focus on “exquisite paneling and extensive interior moldings” (it’s mentioned in the second sentence of the listing), there are highlights that people might find more appealing. Like the audio studio set up, the most relaxed home cinema we’ve seen or the huge amount of deck and patio space.

Besides the roof, there is another terrace on the second floor and a large patio in the backyard where someone has installed a grand piano next to a swimming pool.

That’s not to mention the sauna, the office where all the wood went to the paneling and not the office or the four-car garage. They’ve also gone to the trouble of making sure it’s set up for a legal four-bedroom rental suite, just in case some rental income helps offset your massive mortgage.
