The Essex Serpent

The story revolves around a newly widowed woman named Cora (played by actress Claire Danes), who was in an abusive marriage. After her husband’s death, she moved to a small village in Essex from Victorian London.
The story unfolds when she learns that a mythical creature has returned to the village. The film also stars Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy, Jamael Westman, Hayley Squires and Dixie Egerickx. The film is directed by director Clio Barnard.
Conversations with friends
“Conversations with Friends” tells the story of two Dublin students, Bobbi and Frances, who meet a married couple named Melissa and Nick. The series streams on Hulu and is based on a 2017 novel of the same name.
The series stars Alison Oliver, Joe Alwyn, Jemima Kirke, Sasha Lane, Alex Murphy and Natalie Radmall-Quirke. Each episode of the series will be released every Sunday on the streaming platform.
Lincoln’s lawyer
Do you like watching legal dramas? Then “The Lincoln Lawyer” is something you should definitely watch over the weekend. It streams on Netflix and stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Christopher Gorham, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson and Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine.
The series follows the story of Mickey Haller, an attorney handling small and large cases in Los Angeles. The story is based on Michael Connelly’s 2008 novel “The Brass Verdict”.
Secondary year
The highly anticipated movie “Senior Year,” starring actress Rebel Wilson, revolves around a high school cheerleader who goes into a state of coma before her prom night. After 20 years, she returns to her high school to become prom queen.
The film, which is streaming on Netflix, is helmed by director Alex Hardcastle and also stars Angourie Rice, Joshua Colley, Mary Holland, Alicia Silverstone and Justin Hartley.
